Lake Arrowhead, CA - The Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA) has just awarded a contract to Trinity Construction of Rimforest to renovate the Willow Creek Bridge near the Tavern Bay Beach Club in Lake Arrowhead.

The ALA access bridge serves both vehicle and pedestrian traffic across Willow Creek, on North Shore Road, opposite the entrance to the UCLA Conference Center.

The scope of the project, authorized October 9 at a special meeting of the ALA Board of Directors, will include partial demolition of the existing bridge and new traffic decking. In addition, Trinity Construction will install guardrails, pave the bridge and stripe the roadway.

During the four to eight weeks anticipated to complete the project, the bridge will be closed to vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic for extended periods.

A release from ALA indicated the organization apologized for any inconveniences the project may cause.

Call (909) 337-2595, extension 103, for the status of the project. E-mail updates are also available by sending a request to be added to the "Willow Creek Bridge Status Report" list to Laura Dyberg, property manager at ldyberg@ala-ca.org.
