One-Stop College Class Registration July 31Classes Offered By San Bernardino Valley College By Michael P. Neufeld Big Bear Lake, CA - Bear Valley residents can become college students on the spot when San Bernardino Valley College presents its Super Saturday One-Stop Registration Event on Saturday, July 31. ![]() San Bernardino Valley College offers classes at Big Bear High School through its Big Bear Program. The registration event starts at 9 a.m. and continues until 2 p.m. at Big Bear High School. Classes, which begin August 16, will also take place at Big Bear High. ![]() Big Bear High School, home of the Bears, is located at 351 Maple Lane in Big Bear City. (Photo by Rob H.)
Apply, register, get financial aid and take the placement assessment all in one day and be ready to take classes as part of the Big Bear Program of San Bernardino Valley College.
Here is the schedule of events:
APPLICATION PROCESS 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. - New students will be assigned their ID number. You can apply online to receive a student ID number at VALLEY COLLEGE.
High school students can apply and complete the petition forms online.
FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOPS 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Workshops scheduled throughout the day.
ASSESSMENT PROCESS 9 a.m. - Noon - Student ID numbers required to take assessments in English, Reading and Mathematics. Photo ID also required.
COUNSELING & REGISTRATION 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

His first job out of San Jose State was with the Associated Press in Los Angeles as overnight Radio Editor. He also has experience as editor of an employee newspaper for a major utility company and during his tenure as executive director of the San Jose State University Alumni Association served as faculty advisor to the association's monthly newsletter. He also spent eight years in commercial radio doing everything from news to advertising sales and writing commercials to being an announcer and on-air personality.
