Highway 18 Reopens Following Two-Vehicle Crash (Photo Update)

Update 2 - Saturday 2 p.m.

Running Springs, CA - The CHP has reopened Highway 18 at Live Oak Drive following a two-vehicle accident.

Update

Running Springs, CA - RIMOFTHEWORLD.net is on scene of the accident and has confirmed that only the two trucks were involved in the collision. At least two injured were transported by airship to Loma Linda University Medical Center and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

A paint and fuel spill is blocking the roadway and clean up is expected to require one to two hours before Highway 18 can re-open for traffic.

Original Story

A multi-vehicle collision has closed Highway 18 at Nob Hill. Scanner traffic indicates two semi trucks collided head on and at least two other vehicles were involved, one of which is on fire. Two airships have been ordered to transport injured to area hospitals.
