Overturned Vehicle on Highway 18 Blocks Roadway (Photo Update)

Running Springs, CA - Highway 18 was partiality blocked due to a solo rollover accident involving a SUV in the vicinity of Heaps Peak dump.

Scanner transmissions indicate that the vehicle occupant was trapped and required extrication.

At one point, traffic was reported to be backed up to the Heaps Peak Arboretum. Caltrans also responded to the accident.

The unidentified driver declined medical attention.
