Roll-over Accident Claims Passenger
Single Vehicle Accident on Interstate 15

Devore, CA – A 27-year-old passenger in a black Acura Integra died when she was ejected from the vehicle that rolled after striking a guardrail on Interstate 15 near Devore.
The accident that claimed the life of Denise Martinez from Victorville occurred at 6:54 p.m. yesterday and is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
Four additional victims were transported to area hospitals following the crash in the Cajon Pass just south of Cleghorn Fire Road. One of those victims was airlifted to a trauma center.
The accident blocked one northbound lane of the freeway for about three hours while victims were removed from the vehicle and CHP officers conducted their investigation. All lanes were reported open at 9:21 p.m.
Martinez was ejected approximately 50-feet from the vehicle that ended up on its side. She was pronounced deceased by paramedics at the scene at 7:13 p.m.
