Blue Jay, CA – Details of a break-in at The Royal Oak Restaurant in Blue Jay have been released to news media by the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station.
Spokesperson Pat Essary told RIMOFTHEWORLD.net the burglary most likely occurred sometime early Sunday morning. Owner Pat Welsh reported it at 10:51 a.m. Sunday and met officers at the eatery.

Arriving deputies discovered entry was made through a rear window at the restaurant located at 27187 Highway 189 in Blue Jay.
"Unknown subjects entered the business," Essary explained, "and while inside stole a register drawer and till box containing an undisclosed amount of cash."
A media summary provided by Essary indicated prints were lifted from the scene. However, there is no suspect information available at this time.
The Royal Oak Restaurant has been a Blue Jay eatery since March 1977.
"In 31 years of business," Welsh told RIMOFTHEWORLD.net, "this is only the second time this has happened. I guess that's not too bad."
The deputy returned to service at 12:33 p.m. and Welsh made his way to Mountains Community Hospital for the 15th Annual Le Grand Picnic. Welsh is President of the Mountains Community Hospital Foundation.
Individuals with information about the incident are urged to call the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Department at (909) 336-0600.
