Beat the Heat Chili Cook Off (Update)

Crestline, CA – The Beat the Heat Chili Cook-off was staged July and offered award-winningchili, entertainment, a Kids Zone, a Coors Beer Garden and so much more.

The International Chili Society sanctioned District Championship Chili Cook-Off offered red chili with beans, salsa, and ICS Chili Verde (green). And many of the food and craft vendors who lined Lake Drive for Jamboree Days were on hand with their wide range of offerings,

All day long there will be plenty of entertainment from This Just In (Bluegrass) and Reggie Bannister and Friends.
In addition to the Kid Zone games, the sponsoring Backyard Equestrian Center is scheduled to host a Shoot and Holler and a Lady and Mr. Chili Pepper contest.
"It's really going to be quite a day," Crestline Chamber President Dave Lanham told RIMOFTHEWORLD.net.
