Original Story
Crestline, CA – The Second Annual Classic Car and Motorcycle Show sponsored by VFW Auxiliary and Post 9624 was staged July 26 at the Lake Gregory baseball diamond.
"We have well over 100 cars already signed up," according to Jani Haynes from the VFW Auxiliary, "and many of them are owned by local mountain residents. We're really pleased."
"Cruisin' Above the Clouds" is the theme of this year's event that will include live music by The Rippers, vendors, food and fund for kids of all ages.
"All of the proceeds go to support program for Veterans," Haynes told RIMOFTHEWORLD.net, "or community projects. We'll also have a 50/50 drawing and opportunity drawings."
Last minute entries are accepted at $25 for cars or bikes. Vendors pay $50. Applications are available online. For additional information call (909) 338-7068 or visit http://www.VFW9624.com.
