Get Ready for Earth Day

Green Team Arrowhead Meeting Today

Lake Arrowhead, CA – Earth Day 2009 is just two months away. So Green Team Arrowhead is holding an Earth Day action meeting today, February 25 at 3 p.m. to discuss plans for the local celebration.

The meeting will be held at the Arrowhead Welcome Center, located at 26816 Highway 189 at Dailey Canyon Road, to solidify plans for Earth Day on the Mountain, to be held on Saturday, April 18.

The initial plans and requirements for the Earth Day event at Rim of the World High School will be on the agenda. In addition, Green Team Arrowhead will update attendees on the organization's progress in reaching sustainability.

Michael P. Neufeld, Senior News Editor, is a graduate of the Dwight Bentel School of Journalism at San Jose State University. His first job out of San Jose State was with the Associated Press in Los Angeles as overnight Radio Editor.
