Registrar Certifies Presidential General Election

Recount Requests Due by December 1

San Bernardino, CA - The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters has officially certified the results of the November 4, 2008 Presidential General Election.

The results have been submitted to governing bodies for acceptance. Official Results are available on the Registrar of Voters website at http://www.sbcrov.com.

Requests for recounts must be submitted in writing to the Registrar of Voters no later than 5 p.m. on December 1st. Recount requests for city contests must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on December 1st.

A recount information pamphlet is available on the Registrar of Voters website at http://www.sbcrov.com, or may be obtained by calling (909)387-8300.

Registrar of Voters Keri Verjil commends all poll workers for their service on Election Day.

"Once again," Verjil said in a prepared statement, "San Bernardino County Poll Workers went above and beyond the call of duty by working long hours to serve voters on Election Day. The Registrar thanks everyone for their assistance in conducting another successful election for the County of San Bernardino."
