Fire WatchBy Scott Straley Reporting throughout the day on the fire weather conditions.
Sunday, November 16, 2008 – 03:30 PMCHP Officer Jennifer Reneu made a traffic stop on the suspect for speeding. Immediately after the stop, a witness alleged that the suspect threw a lit object from the vehicle. The witness, along with fire investigators, returned to Highway 18 to find any evidence. Meanwhile, the suspect is being held for failure to provide a driver's license and proof of insurance, according to CHP Officer Wally Wood.
