Highway 18 Paving In Lucerne Valley

Lucerne Valley, CA — Caltrans began an improvement project yesterday, December 2, on State Route 18 (SR-18) at the intersection of High Road near Lucerne Valley. The work will widen the intersection add left turn pockets, resurface the roadway with new asphalt concrete, and improve drainage.
The work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lane closures with flagging will be necessary to complete the work. The project is expected to be complete by the end of January 2009, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead to avoid delays, especially during the busy holiday season. Please follow all instructions given by the road work personnel.
