RIMOFTHEWORLD.net is the mountains communities premier news source and began operations in 2003. The website grew in popularity due in large part to coverage the wild Fire disasters of 2003 and 2007. We developed an alerts-module in 2004 to inform residents, in real time, of incidents happening in and around the mountain communities. In 2007, RIMOFTHEWORLD.net began providing daily news articles. Additionally, members have the option to receive emails and/or text messages containing alerts and news articles, all sent in real time.
