Hello everyone, I really need some help! We have a 2 year old pit bull mix that we adopted from the San Bernardino Shelter as a puppy. Unfortunatley, due to living situations, we are no longer able to keep her. Roxie is a VERY sweet and loving dog that loves to be in your lap, sleep with you if you let her, and lick you to death. She is house broken and spayed. She loves to be around people and loves attention. I know these kind of dogs have a bad record, but we tried to give her a chance and a good home when we adopted her from the pound, it is breaking my heart to think that I may have failed her. I refuse to send her back to that very place whare will most likely be her last home. I dont know what else to do, I havent advertised her because I am afraid that she will end up in the wrong hands. If anyone can provide a loving home or has information whare we can take her please e-mail me at CCRUISE23@HOTMAIL.COM THANK YOU VERY MUCH

You can hang some flyers at the pet shops, Three Dog Bakery and the vets. Put on the flyer that a home check is required and a adoption fee. You could also let the Mountains Humane Society know you are looking for a good home for her 337-6422. They will let you put her on there website. Also contact Sue Ellen Knapp 867-9999. You could ask both of these rescues if they would help you screen anyone interested. They usually will. You could also put her on Craigs List. Will you keep her until she finds that perfect home?

Thank you so much for that information. I will try to keep her as long as I possibly can. Have you herd of "YAPS" before? A friend said that they can assist in finding a home for her.
