Hi Purrfect,
You should call to request a Spay certificate for her at Animal Care and Control 1-877-44POPCO. Here's the website:

I just had to request 3 (the max) because I found a mom and her 2 eight week old kitties under my house. Thank goodness someone stepped up and offered to foster them and Arrowhead Animal Protection League are helping me too.
You have to leave a message and it takes about 5 days for a volunteer from POPCO to call you back. The certificate takes 1-2 weeks to come in the mail. Even if she gets adopted you can give that cert. to the people who adopt her.

She's beautiful by the way. Good luck!

I called weeks ago to get a cert for the mama cat and never heard back. Her appt is on the 14th so I won't be able to get one for her.

That is not true, you can get the certificates. I made two of my cat's appts and I received certs in the mail within 2 days. some of the organizations called in pledges. I had three or four people help out. I told them that my cats appt was a week later and they put a rush on it. Give it a try.
