Would you possibly be willing to take 2? A brother and sister about 1 1/2 years old. They are indoor only, but have both been fixed and have their claws. Our very close friend at the animal hospital just passed away and we are looking for the right home for his precious babies. email if you might be interested reliablepetcare@aol.com

I am out of Crestline-
Yes, "Conk" Parker drove that big white truck. Thank you for your kind words. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was always so loving to the animals and such a big part of everyday life at Rim Animal Hospital.

I have an orange male tabby that I have boarding at RFAH now. He has been at my house since the last fire. He was obviously someones pet, as he is REALLY SWEET! Orange cats usually have great personalities anyway...

But he has been staying outside the entire time- I just put food out. He seems very happy when I occasionally bring him in...
He is being neutered, vaccinated, and he has wounds from getting beat up which will require medical care. But if you would like to see him- just stop by the hospital. His name is Wilson. I would love to find him a good home before I have to put him back out. Call me if your interested 338-8502.
He is a young adult and very mellow.

And if you don't find a mountain kitty, try the PetSmarts - both San Bernardino and Fontana have several that live there temporarily while waiting for a forever home. The adoption group usually has pretty good details about their personalities - and if they can live in one of those cages, they're probably going to adapt just fine to an inside home. (It always hurts to walk by them when I shop! - they need a home.)

Have you found your cat yet? If not I recommend you check out Mountains Humane Society website:
http://mountainshumanesociety.com/They have quite a few cats looking for homes. I could recommend one in particular. His name is Yin. He needs to be an only cat, but he likes dogs and wants to play with them. I have been fostering him since October. He is a real character who is very affectionate and loves to play. He follows me around wherever I go unless he is asleep. He is a really big cat. Check out his profile on MHS website.

I take it back - there's no reason you can't find a mountain kitty, after browsing through the MHS site! If only I had more room and fewer cats . . .

There is an adorable 5 week old siamese kitten at the devore shelter. I was thinking about just getting it and then trying to find a home for it. There is also the sweetest orage cat at the pound in san bernardino by the Inland Center Mall. It is young but not a kitten and is very well behaved. The one gentleman that works there is very attached but has no room left at his house. It would make a very nice pet and its time is just about up.

John and Cindy, I have a beautiful part Persian female that is 1.5 yrs. old. She is used to kids, cats and a very spoiled dog! She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Her fur is so soft and she is gray with some black lines, probably part Tabby as well. I would love to find her a good home!!!!
