Please see thread under all communities. Live oak needs to be added to the SLOW DOWN campaign.

Signs are going back up on this street, neighbors confirmed.

This is what the people on Live Oak think of the CHP

"Too bad there isn't a donut shop on Live Oak. The CHP just might want to go down this street and maybe even do their job like the anal retentive signs say they do. Maybe one of the good folks on Live Oak could just put up a sign "FREE DONUTS". That might just entice the men (and women) in the black and whites a day or two until they catch on."

Here is the whole post

" From: GrahamSent: Monday, May 5, 2008 06:00 PMPerhaps if I attached a snow plow to the front of my truck and drove just over the double yellow (at least where it should be) just like the morons do I might take out one or two of these morons a day...

A little disrespectful if you ask me.

Yes I agree. No need to be rude.

They are simply understaffed, and they do try on occaision (although not as much as would be really effective) to do ticketing as they allow. I do admit I have seen them blast past my house going well over 35mph much more than emergencies might be happening (?) but they are the minority still over others who are blatantly daily ignoring the speed limit.

The CHP has tried to step up patroling, we just need more men on the job.

Oh, and ONE person, not PEOPLE on Live Oak thinks this. I didn't see a community post, this is just the opinion of one poster. BUT I do think he was just trying to be funny.
