Obama picks Edwards as VP and sends him to the southern states to campaign. Obama stays in the big cities and rallies the urban votes and collage educated votes. Edwards goes to the back woods south. This keeps McCain spending money and time in states that should be easily his but won't be. North Carolina and Virginia and Georgia become battleground states because of large AA populations. Obama can keep McCAin pinned down in the south and focus on the swing states like Ohio and Penn and MO. Obama wins PN and OH and competes in MO. and CO. This gives him the election.

Hillery gets offered a cabnit post but turns it down.

Obama gets the nomination and loses the election. Not what I want, but what I predict.

My prediction is the democratic party nominee will prevail only to find such an extreme economy and other situations have been left behind that it will take the first four years just to begin cleaning up the mess while the whole time being blamed by ardent republicans for the mess that was dumped upon them.

Well, there ya go. I'm wrong already..... Edwards swears he doesn't want to be VP. So who's gonna be VP? Hmmmmmm.....HILLERY!?!?

Personally I like that gov. from WY, whats his name? Scheffer? Gun toting DEM from a western state. Very popular at home at least.

How about if Obama picks a man of the cloth as vice president. Three come to mind.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright
Rev. Jesse Jackson
Rev. Al Sharpton

Gemini,

I heard (or maybe starting a rumor), Senator Obama wants a religious VP, so MAY consider Hagee

Bruce - Hagee is too controversial. The other three are clean as a whistle and never been involved in any uproars.

Actually, Jeep, Bush didn't start the game with the poor economy that the next President will face.
