We will have a box of Giant Sequois seedlings ready to plant at our property in Hook Creek on Saturday. I am not sure how many but quite a few and we can get more if we run out. It is a good time to plant them now and we hope to get the protectors to put around them. Anyone who wants them are welcome but hopefully a lot will be planted in Cedar Glen burn area. We only ask that you only take what you actually intend to plant. 29777 Hook Creek Road.....

We will have trees again this weekend. Check the Cedar Glen site on Friday to make sure and for the time. It is great to see all of the ROTW.net people coming out to get trees. Carol suggested we call this the ROTW.net tree planting project...
hmmmmmmm - I wonder if in five years anyone will remember where they came from?

I wish we could plant big numbers of Ponderosa, Sugar Pine and Jeffrey Pines (which smell great.)
You have a great energy for trees!
Will you check these sites?
Maybe we could order some of these and get folks to plant these native pines in C.G. and other burn areas. The ROTW pine-action-committee??? I'd be willing to make a donation towards the seedlings. Anyone else? I can't spearhead the idea because I'm not there to hand them out but you on the other hand ...

CHECK OUT THE CEDAR GLEN THREAD FOR TREE INFORMATION.

Lindengirl - we hae done about all we are going to do on this project. We are going to plant some trees ourselves but wanted to wait until the loggers were out of there so they wouldn't ruin them. Not sure they ever started! We wanted to plant the slope above us.
