Hey Stevee: Way to go. You've got the Induction idea. Eat as much as you like. I love salami, too, and it's one of my staples. Be careful of the tomatoes, tho, they have sugar. If you can hold off on them wait until after Induction to add them. Peg: I will look for Buffalo wings or something when we go out for lunch.. The salad is just way too many carbs (even with my own dressing) and I'm afriad it will start a binge. Hang in there everybody. I found a pair of shorts in my drawer THAT FIT.

Thanks peg. I cut them pretty thin...but I figured about 2 carbs. I have kinda been rounding up on everything. Just to make sure. I don't want to cheat. Today was pretty easy for me as well. I am not sure about eating out yet. Fast food scares me now...i'm not sure what I could order. I'm kinda just staying away for now. If anyone has any good suggestions on what i could order from a fast food place i would appreciate it.

I remember something from Weight Watchers, years ago. A slice of flank steak, pounded very thing and stuffed with one slice of whole wheat bread, egg, onions and seasonings. I think it was drizzled with boullion. It is baked for 20 mintues at 325 if I remember correctly. You could use chicken too. It was one of my favorites and felt like a regal meal!

Stevee: In 'n Our Burger has a great hamburger wrap. So does Burger King. Both allowed on Induction. Good luck.

If not what Mercedes says, you can always order Hamburgers from McD's, BK, Carls, wherever and then just don't eat the bread. I've done that a lot!!!

Thanks so much. I would have never thought of In-N-Out. They have very yummy burgers. I think i'm gonna go there for lunch!

If I'm not mistaken, BK does a low carb burger as well. At least they did a few years ago. I haven't been there to ask lately.

Guys: I don't know what happened yesterday but I was hungry, sleepy and bitchy all day. Ate everything in sight (Atkins, of course), went to bed at 9:15 pm, slept until 7:30 am. Got up and got on the scale and have GAINED 2 lbs. I'm so depressed. I don't know what happened. I have that lunch at Mimi's tomorrow and I'm very tempted to have a big cheat day. It means Induction for 3 days after that, but the way I'm feeling right now a big hunk of Mimi's carrot bread would make me feel better. Stevee: I hate to be a downer when you are just starting. Stay with it. Only a few days are bad. This is really my first day of feeling bad in almost 1 month.

Hey, I went on a three day Oreo binge, so it happens. but, I find the damage is often not worth. I mean, it has to be REALLY worth it! I put on a few lbs and got them back off pretty quickly. This can be a hard way to eat sometimes. You're just not going to be perfect at it. There's just no way. Unless you don't eat something for religious reasons or ethical reasons, eliminating something, especially sugar and carbs, it tough. Mercedes, maybe you ate too much for your body even though it was low carb? I find that happens to me. Calories can still play a part in all of it even though we don't specifically count them. Who knows why? Don't get bummed. Tomorrow at Mimi's might be a good day to go ahead and have the bread. But, remember, you've lost 10 lbs. Is it worth it? For me, that slice of pizza every so often is totally worth it. Just go right back on it the next day with all the resolve you can muster. You can do it!
