For Camping!!!! This year we got smart and got a trailer, but I still want to make some fun camping meals.... I got some wonderful ideas last year from my fellow ROTW'ers, and I am looking for more of the same! Thank-you.

I havent been ignoring this thread,,I have just been thinking of what I might add.We usually cook alot of our stuff before we leave to go camping so theres not as much work when we get there. Now,,we CAMP,,not a trailer.I have friends that say they are going "camping" & it isnt camping to me.A trailer with beds, bathrooms & a kitchen,,not camping LOL!So,,I will get some of my camping food recipes together for ya & add them soon

LOL.... We camp too, just in a trailer, with a shower, a bed, T.V. a stove, and a fridge...... LOL

I have decided that is the only way I will camp anymore. Hubby and kiddo are going to sleep in a tent, (so they say, I am pretty sure when it's 100 degrees outside at night and I am sleeping in a air conditioned trailer they will be right there with me)but at least we will have fun.Family, Food, campfire, good friends, and a great place to sleep at night......

If you think of anything I would love to give it a try...

Thanks

J

Tiny URL is helpful especially when the long address has characters in it that create smileys - like the = and p or = and )

I came across a recipe like that last year when I was preparing for a camping trip. The recipe called for individual bags of corn chips and you just put the warmed up chili and cheese right into the bags for easy clean up. I'm curious to know if they're difficult to eat that way!

last year when we went camping I bought those already cooked boneless breast filets from Costco. They come in teriaki, plain and mesquite. We threw them on the grill and put them on french rolls with cheese, lettuce and onion. When I go camping I like EASY! Camping is enough work already!
