How is Terry doing? Please update. There are a few
good ol'boys down Crestline way that would like to stay posted. Thanks and Blessings!

Sorry its been a while since I've given an update. First I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The doctor a couple of weeks ago told us that Terry's time in the ICU would be like a roller coaster with its ups and downs. This has been very true. Last Saturday it looked like Terry might lose his battle to stay alive...it was very close.
As of today 4-17-08 Terry is able to breath on his own and was able recognize me. And he was able to answer questions by nodding his head yes or no. Terry is far from being out of the woods. Today was the best I've seen him look since the accident.
Please continue to pray and again on behalf of Terry's family we are greatly touched by the out pouring of support the mountain community has demonstrated. Thank you

I believe this coming Monday night is the taco nite fund raiser for Terry. I think you get a choice between chicken and beef tacos for 99 cents each. The good thing is you can order them to go as well. Oh, it's at Sonora Cantina (next to OCI). Tink, since you'll be out this way getting your tacos Monday, just pick me up an extra 6 chicken ones and deliver them to me. I might even pay you for them...

There were hundreds of people there tonite for the tacos. We just got some to go because we didn't want to wait for a seat.

Oh shoot Brandon, I forgot all about it! You were supposed to remind me to pick yours up!! I'm sorry.
Sent: Monday, April 21, 2008 09:31 PM
I waited until freakin' 8PM and no Tink. So, I had to fight the crowd and go get some.

Sorry Butthead! Won't happen again. I do feel bad about not helping Terry out though!

Just wanted to thank everyone who came out the tacofest. Terry is doing about the same as the last update. He is completely breathing on his own and his kidney are functioning a little bit. His biggest battle right now is infection which has been hard to stop. Thank you for your prayers and I will continue to update....again thank you very much.

Terry is doing much better although he has a long way to go. He is very alert, breathing on his own, moving his arms and his one leg. They should be closing his trach. tube soon and he should be able to talk. He is still on dialysis and still has metal pins holding his pelvis together. He is in much better spirits and we have shared some good laughs. Again thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Grrr888tful(that right this time?), so wonderful to meet you tonight, what a surprise! So good to hear about Terry talking today and out of ICU!! Will definitely keep up the prayers for his rehab! I can't help but think of him every time I'm driving home (makes me sad to see the evidence on the road) but it makes me think of him as I drive by...so at least that gets me to say a prayer every time!

Yeah!!!! Terry is out of ICU and is now in "Acute Care". He is also able to talk at a whisper and the key word now is rehab, which is really good news. Keep up the prayers. He still has some more operations and a long rehab. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!! You're welcome grrr888tful! Will keep it up!

Terry has been moved to a rehab hospital in Ontario. He is able to speak and eat soft foods. He is off all dialysis. Now the hard work of rehab comes in. He would greatly welcome visitors. If you would like to visit, you can email me at Grrr888ful@yahoo.com and will give you the address and phone. Thanks for the prayers and suppoert, I know they have helped alot.
