One sided story, a renter badmouthing a professional real estate company that has been here for years? And badmouthing other lanlords. Sure does seem like you have too many problems with landlords, I wonder why that is? Take them to court and quit your whining.

I have been renting for years and have never had problems with any landlords or reality places nor have they with me. Mr. Toad this just one instance. And Slander is when you make up stuff. Everything I stated here is true.

Sounds like you have run into one of those LL that caused all the laws to be passed.

Documentation and pictures will make your case.

Court is your lest expensive and surest way to resolve the situation.

File a small claims action TOMORROW. You have a case against the owner and the rental service acting as their agent. They are each responsible for the actions of the other and there is no legal way for them to avoid that.

You may also be entilted to punitive damages above and beyond the direct amounts owed. Small claims limit is $7500.

The company may have been here for years; however, the person who is running the rental department has not. Never had problems with the previous person. Maybe the company that has been here for years should teach their employees the laws. She has said that she never heard of many laws that are clearly stated on the California's state laws website. The only reason I posted this is so that other people do not have to go through the same problems I did. Not whining, or anything just looking out for my fellow neighbors.
