Great story sabro! That's what it's all about.

When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly.

Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Good morning sabro! Good verse!

The fishermen know that the sea is dangerous and the storm terrible but they have never found these dangers sufficient reason for remaining ashore.

After reading BettyW's comment on the other thread, I decided that I have to make a decision to be more positive and less negative... that it is a concious decision to count suffering as joy, to be joyful in all things, and an act of will to be a Tigger and not an Eyore.

Bounce in the Joy of the Lord.

Let me try this again without the negative, this is a positive place!

It's a struggle to be Tigger rather than Eeyore sometimes, especially right now for me! But I'm still a bouncin'!! Better for everyone around too, since our attitudes affect so many more people than just the ones closest to you!

Happy Hump Day! (though mine was yesterday, woohoo)!

That's a good one Tink, I've been called Tigger since I was knee high to a blade of grass!

TiggerFly!! I'm probably more along the lines of TinkerPooh!! Happy go lucky...oblivious to the world around me, just looking for my next chocolate/peanut butter fix!!

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

Sabro---good for you. Positive is not only happier to read but its happier for the poster. A 1/2 full cup for some reason is so much better than a 1/2 empty cup.

My positive post for the day is to wish everyone the happiest of Mother's Days. As much as I grumble about the bickering on here I really do care about all of you. I don't really know any of you personally but you are my friends of the heart and having a place in someone's heart is always a good thing. At least thats how I feel.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! We're honoring great mothers today, and of course my all time favorite is Mother Teresa!

"Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing."

- Mother Teresa

Sometimes we forget to see whats right in front of our eyes. I sat on the patio yesterday morning having my coffee and noticed how perfect the weather was. The birds were singing, we could hear the horses a couple of houses down making horse noises and overhead there were 2 hot air balloons flying. They went right over our house and it was really something to see. I just kept thinking how lucky we are to have a part in all of this. Most days are just so beautiful and we sometimes forget to see that--I'm hoping to remember that we really do need to smell the roses--its a great experience.

Yes, I have to remind myself to stop and pay attention to what's going on at this moment, much too busy life sometimes! Where do you live Betty? Haven't seen hot air balloons in a while, just love to watch those. Remember seeing a bunch in Arizona before. Have never had the guts to ride one though!
