Windi--I was thinking about you this morning and wondering how things were going. I may not post often anymore but I do keep you in my thoughts.

Thank you Betty. Things are going okay. Allen's brother was here for 10 days from Indiana and although he stayed at their sister's house right up the street the whole family congregated here all nights but two. It was a bit tiring for him but he really loved the company and having everyone here.

He went for a C.T. scan yesterday and we will get the results on Monday when he goes for chemo so we can see if this chemo is working and what the next course of action will be. He seems to be feeling better than he was and has even been able to put a couple of the many many pounds he had lost back on. Keep your fingers & toes crossed for him.

Update time!!!! GREAT News!!! Got the scan results back and with the exception of the main tumor all the tumors have shrunk to at least half or less than half of their original size in his liver, his kidneys and gallbladder show nothing at all...so untraceable cells there and the large growth in his L4 has shrunk to 1/8 it's original size. The main tumor has thinned and is not as dense as it originally was.

His doctor is astounded by his progress after only one round of 12 radiation treatments and 4 rounds of chemo. He is having me give him the exact measurements of all the complementary herbal concoctions I've given him for his kidneys because he said he may consider recommending them to some of his other patients.

I am doing the happy happy dance and tomorrow we're having a mini-celebration at my house...just cake and a few friends but just to acknowledge how happy we all are for him and to encourage him to keep up.

Thank you so much for sharing my happiness. It's such a good feeling to be able to share happy news. We know it's still going to be a fight but getting results like we did gives us both a boost. It's so much more than I had dared to hope for that I get all choked up every time I think about it.
