This family needs your help!

Fog and rain crept its way through the San Bernardino Mountains and settled on the mountain roads Saturday, September 22, 2007. This day with fog would have been no different from any other that has come and gone except this time, three lives were taken. A daughter, son and his young family traveled South on Highway 330 and collided with another vehicle leaving a mother to bear an over-whelming loss.

Deena Wissore of Green Valley Lake sits with her son, Wayne, 26, who is now fighting for his life. Wayne 's wife, Susanne, and their young son died as did Deena's youngest child Tamara. Tami was only fourteen years old and just beginning her freshman year at Rim of the World High School.

Another son of Deena's, Daniel, lost his battle with osteo-carcinoma, a bone cancer, two days after the accident. Daniel was only 22 years old and was studying to be a culinary chef.

The family has been hit hard with the bills from trying to save Daniel's life. The insurance company is fighting Daniel's medical claims and now they are going to have massive funeral expenses.

In addition to all the expenses, Deena's mother past away this year and a week later, Tami and her sister, Sherri, lost their father.

How much can one family handle?

They need help from us - the Community and friends.

A fund has been set up at First Mountain Bank in Running Springs. If you would like to help Deena and her family, you can send donations to:
Florea Memorial Fund c/o
First Mountain Bank
P.O. Box 90 Running Springs, CA 92382

For more information please contact the bank at (909) 867-4242. You may also email any inquiries to floreafund@yahoo.com.

Editor's note: Donations may be made at the First Mountain Bank located at 2625 Whispering Pines Drive, Running Springs.

Funeral services for Tami, her brother, Daniel, her sister-in-law, Susanne, and nephew will be held Monday, October 8, 2007.

I sent this to Channel 7 and Channel 4, with an update of this weekends carwash & bake sale...and stressed that they haven't the funds to bury 4 family members.
