The name of the book is Convergence by Mountain resident Thomas Settimi. Page one: To the alarm and surprise of rebel troops massing on an 1863 Eastern Pennsylvania battlefield soon to be known as the Battle of Gettysburg, numerous vapor trails appear in the clear blue sky above. "Sergeant Wyatt, removing his hat and scratching his scalp offers an unsolicited opinion, If you ask me sir I'd say its a good omen-of our impending victory engaging the federals"...I'm an avid reader and the explosive start of Thomas Settimi's novel Convergence kept me riveted to it to the last page. It's history and Sci-fi expertly blended by an author that I believe will set a trend with this thrilling line of thought. If you're looking for a masterfully written book with a well thought out, interesting theme that stays together from beginning to end I highly recommend Thomas's book Convergence. Hopefully a movie follows!
