Had dinner there for the first time last Saturday and had a very enjoyable experience. I had the lasagna with meat sauce, which was excellent and, most importantly, didn't trigger the acid reflux usually experienced after eating red sauces. My wife had the linguini with clams and said it was the best she had ever eaten.

The service was very attentive, especially considering the young appearances of most of the wait staff.

We felt the restaurant was a bit on the noisy side and would benefit from some half height curtains across the front windows to help absorbe some of the noise, but overall I would highly recommend Pasta Mia for a delicious Italian dining experience.

Gee, I thought they closed long ago. I must be missing their advertising.

I haven't eaten there for a while but I have enjoyed a few meals there. The service was very slow and sparce back then, but people were generally pleasant and friendly. The dinner salad was tasty and fresh but had way too much dressing on it. I felt like I'd eaten a half a cup of oil due to the dressing and pesto combo on top when I finished. Next time I'd ask then to be lighter on the salad. I don't like sending food back and I was hungry so I did eat it....
Anyway, I forget what else i had, but it was good.

I was going to eat at the Pasta Mia one evening a few weeks ago, but there was a smut mouthed antique claw foot tub smoking cigarettes outside the front door.

I didn't like the looks of that tub. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I let that porcelain menace dirve me off.

Just beware the sticker shock of the tiramisu. $8.00!!

More than my lunch entree!

Health rating back to an A. I read in the paper that the rating system is helping restaurants do a good job. We have enjoyed many meals there and plan to continue!

For a great (This Italian thinks) Italian meal - go out to Skyforest to the Storybook Inn. Don't remember the name, but there is an Italian resturant there that is top notch.

Chocolaterain-

What on earth is your post supposed to mean? I've re-read it over and over again and I can't decipher what you're talking about. There is no "claw footed tub" outside the restaurant. Are you talking about a person? I don't get it.

FYI
There was a claw foot tub stolen from out in front of someones house a long time ago. The owner posted here.

chocolaterain has had sightings all over the mountain

There were even pictures I believe?

It's just a running joke. (but, it's all I could think of when I saw one in someones yard on Bear Springs road.)
