Yesterday afternoon at 4:50 I turned off of 18 onto Lake Gregory and as I turned two cars pueled out from 189. The first was a dark green SUV. I was the third car in th line and we quickly came upon a slower moving truck towing equipment. We were still moving at 35mph so it wasn't that bad. Then just as we came upon a slight corner the green SUV shot out and passed the truck and traveled at a high speed down the street. I was unable to get a license or good description of the SUV but this is the third time I have had this occur on Lake Gregory by a dark colored SUV and I am thinking they are probably the same vehicle. I wish I could get more info for you, but if there is a head on crash involving a dark green SUV, they could very well be the cause of it.

Unfortunately, there are too many people who do not think before they act. The most important thing to them is getting wherever they are going ASAP, and not their safety or the safety of other drivers. I have encountered drivers like this numberous times up here on the mountain, and recently one in Riverside. In the Riverside incident, this car was tailgating me and I was just about to turn left into the driveway of the place I was going when all of sudden the worthless piece of you know what passed me on the wrong side of the road. It was clear and a straight road, but had he waited a second longer he would have seen that I was going to turn into the driveway anyway and that this dangerous stunt was not necessary. Also, if he had been one second later in performing his act of stupidity, I would have started to make my left hand turn and he could have hit me.
