I would just like to thank ROTW for being on top of this and for getting the ALERT out so Quickly I am from A.O. and could see it right out my back door window. it made me a little tense.ROTW really did a great job. Thanks again

Per the alerts, and the scanners, they have helicopters on reserve, ready to fly at 0700 tomorrow. In other words, at first light. Thank goodness. With resources being so tight right now, getting a good air attack mounted is tough.

There will also be volunteers posting updates in the alerts through most of the night, in the event that anything changes. Keep your fingers crossed that it's not necessary.

In addition, they brought in air support from all over for this. Given how many fires are ravaging this part of the country, these were scarce resources at best.

My positive thoughts go to all being impacted by these terrible fires all over.

DH and I have been taking drives each evening to cool off. At about 8:30 coming up OGR we could see some flair-ups but for the most part it looks like it's down pretty good.

Thanks again ROTW for your great coverage. I never once thought to turn the TV on today....wasn't needed.
