This man, from the account given, seems very unstable. Yet his bail was only $25,000, which he somehow managed to post, and now he is out. Wonder if he will make good on his threat?

As hard as this incident was to go through personally, and as private as we wanted it to be I have to respond to the article. The article is WAY blown out of proportion, for instance, "but told her if she went to the police, he would kill her", not only did this not take place in the altercation but was not stated at the police report, as I was there for that. The police report was given in order to get Elder the help that he needed at the time. What is truly scary is that these facts came from our local sheriff station? I hope anyone personally involved with this situation will understand that this is not what the victim wanted to happen. She only wants for him to get the help that he needs. Additionally, considering the sensitivity of this situation I do not understand the need for this to be plastered on a venue such as Rimoftheworld.net or even newspapers for that matter. In most cases this could cause even more trouble for a victim in this type of situation. Thankfully that is not the case in this situation.
