I am glad that the CHP is doing this. Of course, it will not completely stop accidents from happening, but maybe it will make somebody think and slow down. People also need to stop driving recklessly in other ways besides speeding. I am talking about not crossing a solid double yellow line in the fog at night to pass somebody and other risky manuvers. Even if the person ahead of them is moving slower than a turtle, people need to grin and bear it instead of risking their lives and the lives of others just so they can get whereever they are going ASAP.

I wish slow down was the word on my street. When I walk my dogs, I am always afraid there will be a speeding car around the next corner. People don't seem to care that people walk on these residential streets (Valley of the Moon). Is it that important to get home 30 seconds faster?
