Thank you to everyone that put their hand to the plow is some form or fashion, to save our little home and our beautiful mountain community, but more thanks to those that will continue to show Christs love as we work to help our neighbors, friends, relatives whom were greatly affected by this fire with trajedy to rebuild their lives. Let the embers of the fire go out, but not the embers of our love. Keep the flames going and ignited so that they can again see a glimmer of hope and restoration.....
In Jesus name and in his service....

After coming home last night and seeing what you were up against, I can’t believe that you were able to save so much of my beloved mountain community of Running Springs.

You did an incredible job and you worked miracles. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and with all my being.

Want to add my Thanks as well!!!

This afternoon I spoke with a fire fighter at Jensen's Mini-Mart and ask about the firefighter they had to airlift out the other day and other firefighters who may have been injured.

The answer I got was that the fire fighter suffered minor injuries and is not hospitalized, as a matter of fact only minor injuries were incurred from this fire fight by our heroes!

I am in awe at how they put their lives on the line and only incurred minor injuries!! DAMN they are good !!!!

VickiW,

Just when I think that I'm putting the fires behind me once again, some little thing will bring me to tears again. The most recent was when I clicked on your link and read the sign on your home. It was the firefighters' response to your "God Bless U" with one of their own.

I'm afraid that I'm one of those people who doesn't cry easily but not the tears just won't stop.

God bless all of the firefighters and all who are suffering.

You are amazing, and we thank you so much. Please remember all those structures you saved as well as grieving the ones that were lost, as I know you do.

Without you, all would have been lost. Know that this Lake Arrowhead home is grateful for your professionalism, your commitment, and your guts.
