Hello All. Shaina Schwab here, RHS junior. I have no idea if this is in the correct forum or not, but there seemed to be no better place to put it. Just wanted to hear some updates about some of my fellow students.

Hope you are all doing well and staying safe,

-Shaina-

Hi Shaina, this is Laurie Schonert. I have tentatively rescheduled our field trip to Nov.6 and I'm trying to get hold of someone in transportation to see if we ca get a bus. I think school will be back in session by then but if it is not, We can meet up individually at the exhibit and still get the discount price if there are 15 or more of us. You or any other students can email me at home at bio.teach2@gmail.net I'd like to hear from as many students as possible. Our home is fine (we live in Crestline. I heard that Mr.Ross, Mr.Wilder and Mrs.Halquist lost their homes.

Do you know of any students who lost their homes? My daughter and a friend got a bunch of clothes that high school aged girls would like (you can guess her approximate size...she's the one who came and spoke to the class). My older daughter has clothes for baby girls size 0-6 months and regular girls size 6-8ish if you know of anyone in need.

Glad your house is alright Mrs. Schonert. Mine is fine as well according to daily reports from a CHP friend of our family. The only person I know who has lost their home for sure is my friend Katy Bartosh. Other than that I can only make approximations about who else still has their home based on burned locations given out.

Field trip sounds like it'll probably work. I myself, a known procrastinator, have still failed to turn in my permission slip, . The only school details I know for sure is that we'll still be out of session next week.
