So, I had heard that they would be in town to answer questions and sign people up starting on Monday (today). Can anyone confirm that? The numbers that are posted do not seem to respond as I'm sure they have been very busy.

Thanks Vicki. I'm just trying to get some information on the asbestos inspections and permitting process. I've got someone to clear the three burned trees and pickup the metal, but noone can legally touch the ashes until there's a permit in-hand.

The county called me back on this and the asbestos inspections will start tomorrow. The lady who called did not have any estimates on how long it would take, but they are concerned as I am about the runoff from any precipitation and also erosion, so they are trying to expedite their processes. Also she said they have an office in town now that will be open until 4pm during the week and "all day" on Saturday. She said they will be having a press conference today in Fredalba to publicize this.
