Wrightseven.......

Can I suggest Toothpaste, Body Wash, and Soap as ideas on what to purchase?

I have at least a dozen large bottles of Shampoo, about two dozen Deodrants, Hair Gels and Spray, Ibuprofen, and some other toiletries I will be giving to Jana when we meet up tomorrow. We did not have any Toothpaste or Soaps on Hand. The Body Washes we have presently are for females---I do not think they want to smell perfumey or flowery . I can also restock them on the items that I listed above.

With much Blessings and Love........ Carolyn

Speaking on behalf of Entertaining Angels/Angels Pantry - THANK YOU, EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED FOOD FOR THESE YOUNG MEN.

We are turning those who still wish to donate over to Jana Martinez the Donations Coordinator. Today will be the final day for Jana to pick up food from our Foundation's office but I know these kids will certainly appreciate any future gifts of food.

Jana, we all hope to see you soon and remember, the Foundation will be supplying 5 boxes of the Special Thanksgiving Boxes for your homes. Karen Roper, an EAU Board member heads the Angels Pantry part of the Foundation and she is well aware of what the Board is doing on your behalf for this holiday.

Ack!!!

Do you want me to move some stuff from your driveway?
Sent: Friday, October 17, 2008 01:30 PM
BRUCE - NO, JANA WILL GET THIS STUFF AND THANK YOU. I just emailed you this......

ONGOING DONATIONS - I had a steaming email from our CPA, who is also a Board member saying "Sherry, as you know, our paperwork to the IRS states clearly we are a 24 - 48 hour 'crisis meeting' organization - YOU MUST STOP AT ONCE accepting donations"

There ya go - since he's been our company's (Saville) accountant for 15 years and now serves on our board - he knows my heart (and his) and has only our Foundation's best interest at heart so I accept his scolding.

I hope this is a satisfactory explanation.

Since Jana's contact information has been posted in this thread, anyone wishing to continue to donate can contact her directly, thus taking EAU out of the loop. Thank you to all who donated - your generous hearts are appreciated by many.

uh oh...I just dropped stuff off at Saville...please let me know if I need to go back and pick it up...I don't want these Angels getting in trouble

I left a message for Jana to pick the food up while you yourself were have a great dining experience and I MISSED IT!!!
Sent: Friday, October 17, 2008 02:40 PM
Yes we missed you! I'm going to email you about a client of mine with cancer that needs help. I didn't want to bombard you the day you came back! Also, I didn't see any other food by the tree when I was there...so it looks like I got there too late...should I go back and pick it up or will she be driving by later?

Ray's at home now so nothing is left undone at the office. I just need a day or two to regroup. Next Saturday will be a big one for us as well - just awaiting instructions from Karen's side

Sherry, Susan (the lady we've been talking about) has had a masectomy and may be interested in the breast forms...I did mention it to her but I found out later she was emotionally overwhelmed during her appointment.
