No thanks necessary!! Just being a part of this wonderful thing y'all are doing, even if just for a short while (this is most probably our last weekend up here.

), is thanks enough!! I'll be there with bells on!

Today, Dave and I and many others were Indians. We are so used to HAVING TO BE the Chiefs - today we were the workers - WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT.
I want to publicly thank Karen Roper, RuthAnn Wachsmuth and Debbie Lamont - the ladies who arranged, organized and made this event a spectacular thing to be a part of.
If you do not take advantage of this delicious food, you are missing out. We could not believe the quality and quantity that $30 buys.
God Bless Angel Food Ministries and their work for us.
Angels Pantry is the best thing to happen to our mountain and we are feeding many, many families.
For the volunteers who came prepared to be Indians just like us - Bravo for your community spirit and your hard labors today - buy boy! did we have a ball.
For Carl, Jimmie and Karen - a special thank you for getting the U-Haul and making the trip down the hill to get all of this food.
Harold - thank you so much for working with Debbie in getting the truck for us.
God's special blessing on every single person that was part of today's give.
When we arrived back at the EAU offices - the 75 menus that were available last night WERE GONE!! Ray, Dave & I went right in and made another 100!
Pictures are on the way..........

Donna, we missed you but sure understand your situation right now.
I was personally shocked at the HIGH QUALITY of this food. It is unreal. I immed called my Mom in Lancaster, gave her the host site in her area for Angel Food Ministries. She's all over it - will jump in and be a big help to that group AND she will start buying for a few family members in that area.
