What is the official exchange rate for eggs and oak firewood?

Roncpp-Official exchange rate? Must I point out that this is not official...
If you have no eggs to barter why are you responding to this thread? [in such a negative manner?]

What I would like is for you to respond to the last question. For some reason you chose to avoid it.

cpp123: It was intended to be humorous. Sorry you didn't get it.

Don't be sorry. Again, how would anyone know you are attempting sarcasm when they don't know you except for black and white text? I did not ask if you cared as it seems we feel mutually on that point of view.

I have some that lay green eggs. They're Ameraucanas.

Americanas and Aricanas are related. The main difference is one lays only blue and the other will lay blue, green, or peach depending on the bird. I can't remember which lays only blue. Both can be identified by blue or green leggs. Aricana's often have fluffs of feathers on their cheeks.

Does eating blue eggs make you sad?

Only if you believe the latest findings about middle aged men shouldn't eat more than 7 eggs a week.

I hadn't heard that statistic, SewNSew. Does that mean if I feed my husband more than and egg a day I might be trying to get rid of him???

I only know what I read. According to this, it might take a while. I'll have to keep it in mind if I ever get involved with one of those critters again.

That's a great site, Jim. I went there when I was trying figure out what kind of hens I wanted. Another good site is the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. http://www.albc-usa.org/cpl/wtchlist.html
