Why not put up a motion to put all the political contributions the Board of Supervisors gets online so we can see who is finacially supporting you?

You came in to bring ETHICS to government.

Wouldn't a little daylight on these hidden contributions be a start?

Oh, you mean TRANSPARENCY.
San Bernardino government, and most others, can't
evern spell it, let alone they never heard of it.
It would make it too obvious to see who's paying them
to make laws in their favor. It's illegal but we've
come to the point where laws are irrelevent. Especially
to those in power. That being the case, I abide only
by laws that are in my favor. I will break all
the rest. Our leaders do it. Why can't I. I get
caught? So what, it's just a slap on the wrist.
I'll take my chances. That's where we are at
this stage. No respect for anything. Who leads the
way? Our politicians. They are our example by which
we follow. Crooked leads by crooked example.

Silence is Golden. But it speaks for itself.
I'll see what Mr. Derry does about this problem.

This is why Postmas had a cashiers check in his house along with the drugs.

I'm surprised they didn't find a fake beard, a passport and an open one way ticket to Argintina along with it.

It seems the honeymoon is over. He wont comment here anymore.

Perhaps Biane convinced him that he doesn't have to talk to us because we don't matter for a few years.

So who will be arrested or put on leave today?

Hi guys -

I think the only reason Supervisor Derry hasn't been posting is because of how busy he is, both in work and his personal life (he is in the process of moving, always a delightful task). For example, today he got to the office around 7 a.m., headed to Big Bear for all-day meetings, returns down the hill to fill a trailer - which he he rented - with mattresses, and then heads to the Redlands Bowl where he is speaking tonite. This is a pretty typical day.

We try and be as transparent as possible. If you look at the supervisor's county Web site, you can find a lot of information, in terms of both our state-mandated disclosures and a lot of other info that we are putting out there so the public can keep close tabs. Here is a link to the site:

http://www.sbcounty.gov/bosd3/

Look on the left-hand side. You will see "Transparency in Government," which then has a lot of info that can be found with a mouse click.

You will find information pertaining to staff expense reports (unredacted) and credit card usage information.

In terms of campaign disclosure, the supervisor files his disclosures electronically, which means that anyone can access them via the Internet. Just put his name in the search box found on the link below and you can find everything here. Now, this is something that can only be viewed this way when the info is filed electronically - if it's mailed in or handed in at the Registrar of Voters, that is not the case as I understand it. It may be interesting to note that not everyone files via the Internet, which means that the public has to go to the ROV to view it.

Anyway, here is the link to that site:

http://nf4.netfile.com/pub2/Default.aspx

Please bear with us as we tackle a lot of issues, both macro and micro. There's a lot good about county government, but, clearly there are a lot of fixes to be made, too.

So, when will ALL the contributions be placed online?
Sent: Monday, August 17, 2009 12:14 AM
And thanks for the nonworking link.

I just tried both links again and they worked fine for me.

Which one is not working for you?

The second link does not work. It works in neither IE, Firefox, nor Opera, so is not a browser issue, but something else.

How strange as I don't have a problem here in the office. Well, I apologize for the troubles.

Here is another way.
www.sbcounty.gov/rov/general_info/default.asp

Then click on "Electronic Campaign Disclosure" which is on the lower middle of the page and it takes you there.

Second link works. Thank you.

I did find this website as a result of plugging in contributor names. Lots of developers, Colonies are big contributors, lots of GOP hacks, some consultants involved in the criminal probe of Postmas, and, of course, Burrtec (under slightly different names).

The interesting link is here:

http://www.paveroadsfirst.com/page/page/4460764.htm

And this is just a fraction of what is out there.

I didnt realize that the Association that I belong to and the credit union donate to these clowns campaign funds. What a load of stuff. I'm not voting for any incumbents. They all seem to be alittle richer after getting in office. Mark Uffer told the Land Use Department that big changes were coming. He also told them he wouldn't be losing any sleep over it. Then he laid off a bunch of them. These politians aren't worth the dirt on my boots.
