The stuff we're not smoking are paranoid delusions, xenophobia, fear of people who are "different", multicultural ignorance, lack of exposure outside one's own narrow existence, misinterpretation of data and observations skewed by ignorance or stupidity. You pick which one or more that apply to you.

Ron,
You forgot to add one item to your list. That is a dislike for unlawful activity (i.e. entering the United States in an illegal manner and not following established laws). There's one that you don't have to ask the poster to show documented proof of truth.

Sabro and RONCPP are very closed minded and blinded by what is taken place with the illegal immigration crisis American faces. Either they do not have to pay taxes or live a very shelter existences or not aware of their surroundings.

Roncpp and Sabro demonstrates signs of racism for the fact that they dispute every document from accountable source stating the facts on illegal immigration. They must feel it is up to the American citizens to continue giving and giving the illegal immigrants a free ride and allow them to be above the law in not obeying our founded laws. They consider us racist watching our neighborhoods and home values take dive due to 15 illegal immigrants living a small trash field home or our schools overcrowded with non-English speaking students that hinders the over students moving forth. Is it racist to see our state go bankrupt due to a high deficit that keeps climbing each day or our hospitals closing down since they can not continue on providing free medical care with no reimbursement.

It is not all about being different. It is about our legal laws that are broken, unemployment rate increasing on legal citizens, financial impact on our state and the future of our children. We can not go on affording to pay for criminals that are moving here from a third world country and supplying free healthcare and all social benefits is just common sense. Our quality life is decrease and taxes are increased.

I was at Rim just yesterday. I was there for band camp a few times...

And I did see graffiti scratched in the PAC windows and it pissed me off. I didn't see and racially oriented graffiti...but I really really hate graffiti. It doesn't mean it isn't there... just that I have not seen it. It only takes one or two idiots with white out pens, sharpies or a scratching tool to mark up an entire school.

I think I will bow out...

If Mtndunn is considering me a troll, and I am being accused of wearing rose colored glasses and smoking stuff. Now Misty thinks I am a racist. I have read carefully and patiently considered all each of you have written. I have gone to your links. I have considered and answered you questions to the best of my abilities. I have done my best at giving you all the benefits of the doubt... and really really tried to stay away from pointing out what seems at time to hint of racism. I thought I had communicated clearly enough.

I have not denied the seriousness of the problem. I have not denied the costs or the impact on our health care, justice, and education systems. I have never minimized the need to do something about the problem... nor have I attempted to defend illegals, to argue some right to be here, to make excuses... or to negate anyone else's personal observation.

I don't live in Twin Peaks. I apologize for intruding on your discussion and wish you the best in coming up with workable, legal, and humane solutions.

Both sides of this issue contain good points.

Ron and Sabro stand for the compassionate side where as many of us, who have actually been affected financially have lost interest in being compassionate.

I personally feel my Constitutional Rights are being violated.
The government has a duty to protect American citizens from all threat, foreign and domestic. This is not being done.

When the time comes that California begins importing educators from Mexico, as was accomplished in Texas, who will in fact work for half the salary of American teachers, Sabro might take another look at the complaints working people bring to the table.

We have the right under the laws of the Constitution to pursue happiness within our own lives. With the influx of cheap, unskilled and criminal slave labor, this happiness thing is out the freakin window. Both parents are required to work like never before to make ends meet while the ILLEGALS seem to have special rights.

Yes, deport the SOB's weather or not they have anchor brats. Send them all back to the crooked and corrupt nations they came from. We don't need no stinkin costumes.

Sabro, one does not need to live in Twin Peaks to see this. It is all over. You were the one that called us racist and stereotyping when in fact we just list our observation and what has been well documented by reliable sources. I wanted to make my point clear that I not basing our facts on nationality, culture or race but on figures on valid sources and legal status. My comment is based on illegal immigrants not legal citizens and how it impacted or schools, healthcare, social services, crime rate and economic stand point.

I appologize Sabro for suggesting you were Roncpp. I've re-read all the posts (several times) and I do see a distinct difference between the two of you. You may both lean towards the left but you, Sabro atleast leaves the door open for a respectful discussion even after you've been insulted.. . Roncpp . . . well, is different.

People, Sabro has been a mirrow of our own government reflecting back to us the policies and direction our governmental system both locally and nationally has gone. A government I think most of us in this thread have been very frustrated with.

Most of my life, I have been a swing voter. I've prided myself in voting for the best candidate not the best party. Lately though I haven't had much pride. I voted for Bush (twice) and am very disappointed in his "open border" policy and the end result we are now facing. Now it's time to vote again and we have to choose between two candidates, one who is soft on open borders and wants to legalize all the illegals (amnesty) and the other who is soft on open borders and wants to legalize all the illegals (amnesty). The difference between them is only to what degree.

The fact that we ended up with two candidates with very much the same policies gives me very little choice and personally, I am very frustrated. I don't seem to be the only one. But Sabro, has only been reflecting what our elected leaders have been advocating in our government. And we, together voted these leaders in.

Thanks Shady.

I don't think I mirror the governments policies. I do think that if the Federal government had enforced the current laws over the last eight years this problem could have been significantly more manageable. They have also not kept place with policy and legislation.

Why is it that if people don't agree with those that say, welcome the illegals no matter what the cost they are called bigots/Racists? Like I said before, if you want them here than sponser a family--pay for it out of your pocket. Show us just how committed you are. You are not necessarily right and we are not necessarily wrong.

What_the_hey your "bigot" remark was wrong. We are discussing a cultural problem in our community caused by non-enforcement from our political leaders.
I complained about your message, what_the_hey and I hope others will to.
The only name calling I have done was to suggest that Sabro might be Roncpp but I appoligized for that.
Are you big enough to appologize, What_the_hey?
