According to some of the forecasts i am seeing, they are predicting the possibility of snow on Thanksgiving. Normally this would be great, but am just wondering how the artisan tour will fair. We are on the tour and honestly do not have enough room to move it indoors....Has there ever been any thought given to opening up the clubhouse and allow a few of our artisans to set up there? I know the weather will probably change as it always does this far out, but was hoping maybe we can come up with a plan 'b' just in case.

The Artisan Studio Tour runs 3 times a year, memorial day weekend, Labor day weekend and Thanksgiving weekend. I have posted all the informaton about the tour, including a link to the list of artisans and what they are selling on the website.
http://www.green-valley-lake.com. The maps will be available at the market on the days of the tour.
Sean, to answer your question about the clubhouse, that has been discussed amongst several artisans in the past. The problem is that the clubhouse is being used for other things . During the Thanksgiving tour the clubhouse is being set up and used for the Christmas tree lighting party (also discussed on GVLs website!)

Right now the prediction is some rain and snow Tuesday and Wednesday with it partly cloudy on Thanksgiving. It might be a white Thanksgiving, but it will be one where it has already snowed. The precipitation numbers don't look too high. Hopefully it will stick to the trees for a day.
We're flying out from our home in Colorado and renting a car at SNA, so I'm glad it won't be snowing Thursday and Friday. I don't want to have to rent a 4 wheel drive.
Saturday we get on a cruise ship for Mexico. Ahhhh.... 85 degrees and ocean breezes.

Aframe; I live about 5 miles south of Castle Rock. I kept my cabin in GVL and sold one that I bought and flipped. My place burned down, but as luck would have it, the guy I sold the other one to stopped making payments and I got it back through foreclosure. I'm remodeling it now. I also bought a cabin up near Bailey, Colorado with my insurance money. My father is rebuilding where the cabin burned down so we'll end up with two cabins in GVL just 130 feet from each other. Out of the fire we got a somewhat decent outcome. However there were family heirlooms like furniture my grandfather made and paintings painted by family, that is lost forever.

sorry to here about the family heirlooms. sounds like everything else is working out good for you. have fun on the cruise.
