Before dinner snack for guests-Bread rounds(cut from fresh bread using a glass as the cookie cuter) lightly spread with mayo, top with fresh parmesan cheese, bake in oven at 450 until lightly toasted(minutes only).

You do not have to be a resident of Green Valley Lake or own a cabin. All you need is a love of our community!

Since we are aiming for the book being available by Thanksgiving the final submission date for the cookbook and the photo contest is August 31. But please do not delay. We are aiming for 200+ recipes.

Ok... I have a few recipes organized and stored in my docs folder in pdf format. I've checked out the instuctions for submission and I see the options, but I'm wondering if there's an option to submit the recipe as a pdf attachment, or must/should each recipe be a line by line submission? did I overlook something in the instructions? thanks!

Dani, Darlene has a couple of recipes for you. I'll give them to you later, today or tomorrow. My bad for not contacting you earlier.

Hey Roger. We would love to have your recipes. Darlene can enter them on-line (instructions are here.
http://www.green-valley-lake.com/Cookbook.htmlIf she does not want to enter them on-line she can drop them off at the GVL Market. I am out of town at the moment or I Would be there to accept them from you.
To date, we have 113 recipes which is great but our goal to publish is minimum of 200. So if you are thinking of submitting please do so. We would love to have these available for the tree lighting party in November but need MORE RECIPES!! The ones that have come in sound absolutely delicious. Recipes like "GREEN VALLEY LAKE SMOKED TROUT FILETS", "GLAZED APPLE IN CARAMEL SAUCE", Pat Huckabys "BLUE RIBBON APPLE PIE" which I think he won the blue ribbon at GVL family days! Just to name a few...
These will be MUST HAVE cookbooks but we need more recipes!

Dani, I'm busier than a one-armed wall paper hanger, but I will run the recipes up to you by Tuesday, or maybe will get entered on line to you....
Sent: Friday, August 7, 2009 01:24 PM
Couldn't enter them for some reason, but I sent 3 to your email. And I will add a fourth one later on...
