What's the latest fishing report?

Sorry it took me so long to get on, I have been busy. Fishing has been great, last night the fish were so thick on the top I think I hit one with my fly as it surfaced! As usual moving baits are the best. Today I was talking to a guy who had not had a hit in about an hour, I said he should try a moving bait so he started to pull it in slowley and caught a fish. He left with 2 more about 30 min. latter. Night crawlers have come on lately. Power worms,jigs & lures are the best! The lake has been stocking 800lbs. a week for the last few weeks and will be putting in 1000lbs. from jess ranch & 1000lbs. of Alpers for labor day weekend....... Yes I said ALPERS.......

There were alot of small birds circling and flying low over the lake, swooping down catching insects. Cool site to see today

Thanks Xmountainboy....you are always such a great help. I will try to make it up for Labor day weekend. The last hurrah before summer ends.

Today was one of those days! The state put in 500#, Jess Ranch put in 1000# (some were very nice 6+ at least 2 were much larger), Alpers put in 1000# also very nice fish 2-4#. Friday should be fantastic! I just wish That I could be on the lake early but family first!! I will see you all on the lake in the afternoon. Gooooood Fishing!!!!!!
